You can install the valence as a decorative piece .The valence resembles the jabot ends and is a replica of the of arch. Practical wooden blinds can be a good idea for any kitchen window treatments. This is practical and reasonable as it does not involve any fuss, frill. Apart from that it provides privacy and controls the inflow of lights. If you choose white blinds then it will be a good idea since  they blend with the architecture of the room. The cabinets and other interior items looks good with white blinds. They give a contemporary and traditional look to the room. If you have large windows that are ideally 2.5 inch then you can arrange blinds that prevents energy. The wood vinyl and vinyl composites are safe for this kind of window treatment. Apart from being humid resistance the wooden blinds are durable. Moreover you can apply a coat of paint in the exterior part. This way you save the wood and the color do not fade off easily.
